Multiple rooms

Since Mini Friday has been quite full recently, we decided to make a quick hack to provide more space. So now we are running five clones of the same room. When you enter Mini Friday, you will receive a chat bubble saying "Welcome to room N". If you want to switch to another room, simply write :go X, where X is number from 1 to 5.

Note: There is a slight bug: the position of the avatar is not updated correctly when entering the new room, so just walk a bit around to get it in sync again.

If you wonder where your friends are, just ask the barmaid Tiraam: where is username. She is happy to help!

We know this is not the most elegant solution, but while we are busy doing the S60 3rd edition Symbian version, this was a quick compromise. Welcome!

    January 26th, 2007 at 06:38 PM I hope this is temporary it seams 2 be more inconvinient... It would have been beter just 2 create more rooms in same area separated by doors or sumting. Dont know how other users react but this was real dissapointment, not wat i expected at all.

I dont use wap, but i use net over BT Dongle (gnubox), and so do many N-Gage users like me over at the N-Gage arena forums. It uses only the Data call option so can you do that little thing for us?     January 30th, 2007 at 06:14 PM hi there. there is an other problem, if there are too many russian users, they start to use shout for talking. pls make a limitation for that. i say russians shout, because whenever i see them they shout. i don't want to read what they say. this thing kills me. and also, yes, more rooms with different designs will be better than clone rooms.. app is great, but can be smt to do, not just for chit-chat. ex. mini games would be great and things like hair style will unlock with that, etc. etc.

I think that great idea is to put there something like jukebox - every user would be able to choose track which he likes (it we be played only on his device)or jukebox with built-in mp3 player - user will be able to play his own mp3s as the background.

    January 31st, 2007 at 11:17 AM I dont think music would be great idea! It would require a fast connection to stream da music to ur phone, ... Rather concentrate on making those different rooms ASAP. And please make a prison so we can lock all those russians in there to many of them, hehe!

It's just frustrating they keep on shouting in their own language. In that way, the people who want to have a normal conversation can't even do their thing. Anyways, keep up the good work!
